Dustin wins points championship at Lanier 2007

The Garrison Racing Equipment Monster Minis saw #01 Marc Gallichotte jump
out to the early lead. As he tried to fend off the charge of #25 Scotty Beck,
they had more than just the race win on the line as these two drivers were tied
for second place in the points. On lap 19 Beck was able to finally work his way
past Gallichotte and hold on for the next eleven laps to take his seventh win of
the season. Gallichotte would follow in second, #37 Dustin Stephan would finish
third, #11 William Earnest fourth, and #28 James Nash fifth. Stephan would
claim his first division Championship at LNS in five seasons of racing here. Six
wins and two poles propelled him to the top of the standings this year, while he
already has his sights set on a probable move to the Open Wheel Modified
class next season where he will compete against his brother Bryce.
